LOOKOUT! the independent research and insights organisation based in Manchester has been appointed as research and insights partner to the Business of Science Conference.

The partnership will see LOOKOUT! develop a ‘Business of Science Industry Snapshot’ identifying key insights into the science sector.

The Business of Science Conference takes place on Thursday 18th May 2017 at the Museum of Science & Industry, and follows on from last year’s hugely successful inaugural event which coincided with Manchester’s year as European City of Science.

Eugene Tansey, Founder of LOOKOUT! said:

“We are delighted and extremely excited to have been appointed as the Business of Science Conference research partner. We look forward to building the industry snapshot report for this critically important sector ― a sector which Manchester has pioneered over the years.”

Steve Bennett, founder of Science North Limited, the organisation behind the Business of Science Conference said:

“I have known Eugene for several years, and am truly excited to be working with him and the LOOKOUT! team on this project.

“The ‘Business of Science Industry Snapshot’ will provide insights into the key challenges and opportunities which senior industry professionals believe affect the sector.

“It will also provide a snapshot of confidence levels on a variety of key industry topics. The industry report will be produced and analysed by LOOKOUT!’s, conference delegates will be able to download the report free of charge from the Business of Science website.”

In recent years, LOOKOUT! has gained a reputation for producing industry reports, including the POWER-GEN Europe Confidence Index (2015 & 2016) and the North West Business Monitor.
